This blog has a few purposes:

I am primarily interested in sharing interesting and important content related to communications, politics and media that I think are in the public interest. I will also share interesting and relevant content related to a few personal hobbies, including cycling and cheese.

Beyond sharing my thoughts, this blog is also to promote open and beneficial communications practices, communications in the public interest and communications that builds public knowledge of, and public dialogue about, transparency and accountability in government and public institutions and the connection and conversations between the public, governments and the mediation role of the media. I should also add that the blog is – to a certain extent – also about promoting my ideas, my ideals and me.

I am hoping to connect with any audience interested in the above topics, including journalists, professional communicators, public servants, politicians and political staff, advocates for ideas and policies, Ontarians and Torontonians, urban cyclists and cheese-eaters; those who are engaged in these issues and wish to start, continue or contribute to the conversation.
